1914 - 2004 Margaret Fane Rutledge
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Margaret Fane became interested in flying at an early age.
She obtained her private licence in 1933 and her commercial licence in 1935.
She was a charter member of the "Flying Seven", a group of Canadian women pilots, based in Vancouver.
She worked for Ginger Coote Airways as a co-pilot, radio operator and dispatcher. She was later a reservations supervisor for CPA..
